New (unidentified) virus???
Not sure what this is, but between my experiences, those of a friend, and two LJ’ers, (spanning a total of FIVE computers, I am theorizing there is some new virus (or worm) which visits our computer, turns on “sticky keys” (or something that works the same way), and then self-destructs leaving our computers to act really strangely. My current method is to try using MS accessibility wizard to make sure sticky keys is turned off.

I have been to the Symantec page, but there are so many viruses to sort through, it will take me a while to find out if there is even a precedent for a virus like that.

Please reply if your PC has any of these symptoms:

TAB key changes open window instead of data field.
Start Menu’s “log off” user shuts the PC down.
Shut Down, causes the computer to “Restart”

Current Mood: determined determined
