I’m done moving! Must celebrate!
Somehow I feel that announcement deserves a party, but I’m in no shape for it. Although I don’t think I actually strained anything my body is just tired... and a heck of a lot more muscular than I’ve become accustomed to; I keep thinking “Whose arms are these and where are mine?” Party theme, “Stroke Dave’s new muscles while they last”... Maybe not? Besides I really need to sleep and where am I going to find a group of people who are going to be willing to party for an hour or two and then watch the host pass out. I guess it could be slumber party. I need volunteers; People who are too tired and or burned out to go anywhere for the July Fourth weekend but would rather hang out at a friends place and eat steaks, french fries, and ice cream. Come to think of it in the shape my hands are in I’d need to employ others to prepare the fries, so maybe that dish will have to wait until the official house warming party.

Right this moment I have been awake over 33 hours and in that time I worked at the old house a solid 26 hours straight through. My day began last evening when I headed over to the house for what I thought would be the first of two final trips. I’d arranged for a couple friends to come and help, bittercat and wolfdancer, who actually brought keith_m043, and briefly it looked like she might bring wildeflower, but that didn’t materialize. The help of each of the three who did show up probably made the difference between getting mostly done, but needing to come back and pick some more up and mop really well and what happened instead where I actually had barely enough strength to mop pretty badly, but at least I got everything.

detailed listing of exhausting operations:
-deciding what should be trash, recycling, keep or save to give to some worthy person.
-moving all the remaining recyclable paper to the solid waste xfer station.
-moving stuff to discard into a HUGE trash pile I’ve contracted to be removed by a landscaper neighbor who does this sort of thing.
-Loading my car and trailer to the hilt with the very last of stuff to keep, as well as a couple of things for agentxs and wolfdancer.

Glad to hear it's over! Now, once the house is in order, you can move beyond both of your recent relationships and start a new life ALL YOUR OWN!

I look forward to that housewarming party! :D
