Trippy Painter Guy
Yes it’s construction time again. A refresher. My dad died my mom flipped her way into a nursing home and I “inherited” the family house. I’ve been trying to fix the place up and make it a bit more livable. Comes the painter.

I hire a local handyman, the brother of one of my neighbors, giving him one task at a time. First he takes a tree out for me, then I have him extend my driveway by 30 feet (concrete not asphalt), then I ask him to paint a room.

Just a bedroom. Right. Not too complicated. I even bought the paint and was preparing to do the work myself but I figured, I have a lot to do and I can afford to pay this man who CLAIMS to be very experienced to do the work for me.

How can a man who can install a 30 foot x 10 foot concrete driveway be SO INCOMPETENT when it comes to painting. I think it takes talent! I don’t know where to begin. I really don’t. I’m still feeling REALLY sick about the whole mess. Yeah. I will write more later when the current nausea passes.

Current Mood: nauseated nauseated
Current Music: Whiter shade of pale

I am so sorry that it has been so difficult for you. Please accept my condolences for your father's death, and my sympathies for what you must have been going through all this time.
