Waah tovahs unfriended me today!
I think people who insist others unfriend them are well... INFANTILE, which is why I have NEVER asked anyone, including tovahs to unfreind me, no matter how disgusting I found them to be.

Today I just happened to notice this and so maybe she unfriended me yesterday. She's been on my mind ever since I received a letter of complaint about her from a mutual friend of ours.

So I suppose that I'm pleased that she's unfriended me, as I really hate even being reminded that she exists, but I reiterate I'd NEVER have asked her to unfriend me.

I dunno about "infantile," but I haven't asked junipercrowfoot to unfriend me—mainly because that would involve talking to her.

I dunno, the whole friending system is more or less unique to LJ, and I think it's a very interesting way to keep up on things. Of course, RSS feeds have alleviated that so perhaps it's not as useful as it once was. But what *has* bemused me is the whole emotional baggage I've seen with this friending system. Weird. I friend and unfriend if I'm interested or not, with nothing beyond that, and pretty much expect others to do the same.

Anyway. Whatever.

I unfriended you because I was trimming down my list. I unfriended most of the people who had not friended me back. It had nothing to do with you asking me to unfriend you or not.

As for the letter of complaint if they don't have enough guts to say something to me then they aren't much of a friend of mine.

You have no hope of convincing me this person didn't say plenty to you, though I'd bet you were not actually listening at the time. As for being a friend to you, I believe you earned this treatment through your own behavior.

Now that I think about it, I would have to say that if I am ever again consulted regarding a means of persuading you to listen, I will make sure to suggest that they put their concerns down in writing, preferably on LJ and publicly, as it appears that you actually do pay attention here.
