Um. It's a crappy music video for someone's uninspired performance of "Hooked on a Feeling"?

The "ooga chaka" is part of the song. Really.

that's David Hasselhoff, star of Knight Rider. What I can't figure out is what is he doing in this video and when did he learn to sing? Personally I think he's a LOT better looking now than he was in that TV series, although he matured in the role. In the early episodes he looked pretty dopey.

What is he doing in the video? Lip-syncing. When did he learn to sing? Not necessarily yet.

Sorry, can't translate the audio. But judging from the comments, the verses have been creatively tampered with, of course. They seem to find it hilarious... Most of the comments are in the vein of OMG this is ****ing hilarious, with one person saying see now this is what happens when you mix your meds...

Dunno exactly what, though.

OK, given the language and content of all the comments, it sounded to me (no pun intended) like the video in question was a spanish language parody of a music video. I didn't even bother to run the audio itself. Oh well.

It is in perfect english, and in fact it is pretty easy listening as music goes. The aspects of it that confuse/amuse me are the fact that David Hasselhoff is doing it at all, and that weard guy with the big fish eyes. I have to wonde if that was added later, because assuming David Hasselhoff ever intended this for public release I sort of doubt that the fishead guy would have been intended as part of it unless it is an icon of something I really don't understand.
