I'm Ba-ack!
Well maybe, been planning on it but never seem to find the time. I've been uncharacteristically calm and even occasionally happy lately and that does not seem to lend well to posting on LJ.

So this evening I was visiting a WalMart (also uncharacteristic of me) and upon leaving I started my car and made a phone call while the car warmed up. The weather was incredibly cold and on top of that there were winds what had to exceed 30mph. No kidding! I swear there were shopping carts zooming "riderless" across the parking lot faster than most of the cars. I ought not need to tell you that under such obviously dangerous conditions I actually returned my cart to the store so that my cart would not add to the havoc.

So, while on the phone this imbecile parked his empty shopping cart diagonally between my car and his and then proceeded to get into his car. Worse yet, the location of the shopping cart was directly "upwind" of my car. I could not resist but to comment on this:

"Excuse me! YOU DO NOT PARK YOUR SHOPPING CART UPWIND OF MY CAR TO CRASH INTO IT AS SOON AS YOU LEAVE!"

The embarrassed twit neither shouted back nor flipped me the bird. Instead he recovered his cart and parked it in a corral only one aisle over before running back to his car and leaving.

That was my first such "public outburst" in many weeks, and it was surprisingly refreshing, possibly even enjoyable. My friend who was still on the phone was also rather impressed.
